Keep your license connected to the right sites
This guide is about managing the sites attached to a paid license. Free does not need a license. For the first activation, use the separate activation guide.
Check the account record
- Sign in with the email used for the order.
- Open the licenses area and identify the correct plan.
- Check its status, site allowance, and assigned domains before changing an install.
- Compare the recorded address with the WordPress address of the site you are working on.

When a site moves
A move from a staging address to a live domain can leave the old installation attached. Record both addresses, confirm which one is still in use, and remove only an assignment you no longer need through the available account controls. Contact support if the assignment cannot be changed.
Example: you moved from staging.example.com to example.com. Check for both entries before buying more capacity. Do not remove another client’s active site to make room.
When the allowance is reached
Compare active installs with the plan limit. Pro offers 1, 5, or 10 sites; Agency offers 25, 100, or Unlimited. An inactive old install and an expired license are different problems: freeing a site slot does not renew a license.
Do not assume staging sites are exempt unless the current plan terms explicitly say so.
Verify the result
Reopen the license screen on the intended site. Confirm that the license is active and the domain is correct, then check the account’s install list again.
If it still fails, send support the site URL, plan, plugin version, exact message, and only the last few characters of the key. Never post the full key or admin password.
